Trade Trails is a casual game around making trade routes, navigate dangerous hazards, find great trades, buy upgrades and make LOTSA SPACE BUCKS!

Made as a solo entry for the GMTK 2024 Game jam ❤️
Theme was Build to Scale - In TradeTrails you must build trade routes and upgrade them to Scale your Trade Empire to galactic levels.
Controls
- Left Click on a planet/station to start drawing
- Left Click on another to create a route
- Right click to cancel and to Pan
- Mouse wheel to zoom
Directions
- You start with ONLY Scrap unlocked
- The Station can be traded with
- Draw a route between planets (you will need an upgrade to connect far away trade)
- Click on the Route to manage it, assign ships and unlock new trade goods
- Race to make 2.5 MILLION SPACE BUCKS!

Cool
While it took me a while to get the hang of the mechanics, it was very interesting to play! I've never played anything like this, except maybe Spore (in Galactic stage). Nice entry!

Pretty slow at first, but I so wanted to unlock the passangers and medicine so I kept playing and once I got to that point I wanted to get to the goal. I wish I could've kept playing past the money goal, I wanted to get to the far away planets
